I’ve have had the extreme pleasure to chat elaborately about 7 of my all time favorite records with Belgian national broadcast Canvas on ‘ Off The Record‘.
Talking about how The Meters and Frank Zappa got me into drumming, how the Beastie Boys and Midnight Star got me into hiphop and breakdancing. John Martyn’s ‘Solid Air’ and Miles Davis’ In A Silent Way sucked me into jazz and Hudson Mohawke’s ‘Butter’ got me lost -musically- all over again.
